The lawyer's fee is regulated by the Lawyer's Tariff. According to it, the fee may be charged either contractually (on the basis of an agreement with the client on the amount for which the legal service will be provided) or extra-contractually (if the lawyer's fee is not determined by a contract with the client; it is governed by the lawyer's tariff).

The amount of the fee is always subject to agreement based on the factual and legal complexity of the case.

The client is always aware in advance of the estimated time required, which determines the total amount of payment for the legal services provided.

The charged rate is 2.600 CZK incl. VAT per hour of legal services (however, it may be adjusted according to specific circumstances on the client's side).

In the case of a legal services agreement, the first consultation on the case is free of charge.

Payments are made in non-cash on the basis of an invoice.

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, the Czech Bar Association is entrusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic with the out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes in the area of disputes between lawyers and consumers arising from contracts for the provision of legal services. A consumer is defined as a person not acting in the course of his or her business or in the course of the independent exercise of his or her profession.
